Ambassador Ren and Prime Minister Spencer

    Prime Minister Spencer expressed his warm welcome to Ambassador Ren and Madame Yan. He said that the bilateral relation has been developing rapidly in recent years and the cooperation in all fields has been yield fruitful. He also took the opportunity to reiterate the "One China" policy which has been firmly upholded by his government and to express his willingness to assist Ambassador and the Chinese mission in all aspects.

    Ambassador Ren conveyed the greetings from Premier Li Keqiang to Prime Minister Spencer. He expressed his gratitude to the government of Antigua and Barbuda for the special courtesy arrangements for his arrival. Ambassador Ren stressed that the Chinese government attaches great importance to the relation with Antigua and Barbuda and is happy to see that over the past 30 years, exchanges and cooperation in politics, economy, education, culture etc. has been productive. "I stand ready to join hands with the government of Antigua and Barbuda to push the bilateral relations to a new high" Ambassador Ren concluded.
