Your Excellency Mr. Xi Jinping

 

    On behalf of the Government and People of Antigua and Barbuda, I offer sincere condolences for the loss of life and damage caused by the earthquake in the People's Republic of China, on the 20th April, 2013.

    This lamentable occurrence saddens the region and the Government of Antigua and Barbuda wishes to express its unwavering solidarity to the Government and  people of the People's Republic of China,during this time of national grief.

    My Government is confident that the resilience and fortitude of your people to survive against all odds will assist your State in the recovering favourably from this disaster. Excellency, please be comforted by the fact that the prayers of the people of Antigua and Barbuda are with you at this time.

    Please accept the assurances of my highest consideration and my prayers for the continued sucess of your country.
